Understanding the NEET Scoring Rules
- The examination comprises 180 multiple-choice questions to be answered.
- For each question, there are four options, out of which only one option is correct.
- Correct response: You earn +4 marks.
- Incorrect response: You lose -1 mark.
- Unanswered/Marked for review: No marks are awarded or deducted (0 marks).
- In case a question is dropped by the NTA due to printing errors or technical issues, all students will receive +4 marks for that question, regardless of whether it was attempted or not.
